We have been supported by the Rural Design Centre (RDC) and the National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise (NICRE) https://nicre.co.uk/to develop community-based projects.
2 members of our steering group have been awarded Certified Carbon Literate status by the Carbon Literacy Project https://carbonliteracy.com/
We are actively engaged with Community Energy England (CEE) https://communityenergyengland.org/, Regen https://www.regen.co.uk/ and Community Action Northumberland (CAN) http://www.ca-north.org.uk/in working towards a low-/zero-carbon energy future for local communities.
We are committed to engaging with other local, grassroots environmental groups to promote common goals and have held meetings with groups from Acomb, Felton, Fourstones, Haltwhistle, Hexham, Holy Island, Stocksfield, Wall and Wylam.
