  • Grid infrastructure investment rules need aligning with Net Zero goals
  • Local & national planning rules need aligning with Net Zero targets
  • Better incentives for energy efficiency targets
  • Better provision for EV charging near houses

Local grid for the future

  • Needs to be designed for more EV’s, heat pumps, storage & generation
  • Need a solution for locally generated & stored generation to be used locally without punitive costs
  • Regulatory framework needs to be changed to align with Net Zero goals
